Outdoor sauna assembly
A sauna is a substantial assembly project, from the curved shell to the interior benches. I’m based in Burlingame and take on outdoor sauna kits across the Bay Area.

A new roof.
I returned to this summer’s barrel sauna to fit the roof. The dark panels follow the curve of the wooden shell, with the front timber trim framing the entrance.

Before the October roof addition, this sauna came together one curved section at a time. These June and July photos follow the wooden shell taking shape and the interior benches going in.

What do you need to assess my sauna?
Send the product page or assembly manual, your city, and photos of the location. Include delivery status and any heater or electrical work you have planned.
How is the scope agreed?
We discuss the kit, base, access, and what you need assembled before scheduling. Electrical hookups, plumbing, foundations and other specialist trade work are excluded. Any heater installation must be reviewed separately; do not assume it is included in the kit assembly.
Can I see a sauna you have assembled?
Yes. This is the same barrel sauna I built in June–July 2026, with a roof added on October 14, 2026. The latest photos and walkaround show the new roof; the earlier gallery and July video tour are still here to show the original build and interior.
