about Me

Welcome!

I’m Artem, and my journey here is one of resilience, skill, and the pursuit of excellence. Originally from Russia, I once held a comfortable IT position there, but due to political disagreements and a desire for a different life, I made the bold decision to start anew in the United States over a decade ago.

Starting from scratch, I quickly learned that my principles of honesty, transparency, and unwavering dedication to giving my best in everything I do would be the cornerstones of my new beginning. These values have been my guiding stars, whether I’m assembling complex furniture or creating digital art.

I invite you to view my TaskRabbit profile, where my extensive experience and customer reviews speak volumes of the trust and satisfaction that I’ve built with my clients. Similarly, my professional profiles on Thumbtack and Upwork reflect my broad skill set and adaptability. For a glimpse into my creative side, take a look at my ArtStation profile.

My story in the US began with joining a moving company NorthStar Moving where I was quickly promoted to a foreman position. From Foreman position boss quickly elevated me to top Foreman pick for “yelpers” – customers who had large influence on Yelp.

You might still find reviews of my crew back from 2014 on NorthStar Yelp page, specifically mentioning my name – those first reviews are what I used to get my first TaskRabbit customers.

The experience honed my leadership skills and my knack for meticulous project execution, not to mention insane physical endurance required to stay alive while doing moving jobs 14 hours/day.

Eventually, I transitioned to TaskRabbit and have been freelancing ever since. Along this path, I’ve gravitated towards increasingly challenging projects, finding a special niche in assembling intricate playsets, elegant Murphy beds, robust gazebos, and more.

Each project I undertake is more than just a task—I love building it, I love challenging myself to be faster, build better, be more efficient and always find ways to improve what I do.

And I enjoy happy smiles of my customers and their kids – there’s nothing quite like “wow this looks amazing!” after a day of a hard work.

Let’s build something great together!
